Hurricane Harvey made landfall in the greater Houston, Texas area on August 25, 2017.  The hurricane and subsequent hurricane-caused flooding devastated the region.

Among the victims of the hurricane is Cub Scouts Pack 585 of Katy, Texas.  The 52 Cub Scouts of Katy lost almost everything in the flooding, with only a few handbooks still usable.  They have to start from scratch - new uniforms, handbooks, camping supplies, etc.

Scouting New Albany is organizing a drive to replace the handbooks and field uniforms ("Class A's") lost in the flooding.  Pack 585 has received some handbook and uniform donations already, but they still need 11 Wolf handbooks, 7 Bear handbooks, 5 blue shirts and 2 tan shirts.  At $12.99 per book, $24.99 per blue shirt and $29.99 per tan shirt, a total of $417.75 is needed.

Please consider offering a tax deductible donation to Scouting New Albany in the interest of providing relief to Pack 585.  Donors will receive a notice of receipt, and 100% of all donations through this page will go to Pack 585.  Any amounts collected over $417.75 will go toward additional relief for Pack 585, which will still have substantial need even after our donation is made.

New Albany Scouts are helpers!  Thank for your generosity.
